Ground Hopping in 2024

This was the Derby not a Derby in the North East of England. Although, still a big game it was a frustrating 1-1 draw at the Riverside Stadium. Boro should’ve won the game after taking the lead with a clinical strike. However, a late error from the goalkeeper gifted Sunderland an equaliser.
For nearly 120 minutes, Wembley witnessed a closely contested battle between Liverpool and Chelsea. However, two poor VAR decisions cancelled out good goals for both teams. While Liverpool had a slight edge in possession, and Chelsea created arguably better scoring opportunities, it was Liverpool who took the cup back home.
